Introduction

fbcmd is a command line interface (CLI) for facebook.

It is open source and is both "free as speech" and "free as in beer". It works in Windows, Mac and Linux.

It was originally created for fast status updates and posting items to your news feed, but it has lots of additional cool commands.

Please do not use FBCMD to violate the Facebook Terms Of Use, which currently says: You will not collect users' information, or otherwise access Facebook, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers). So play nice and use it for your own personal use and convenience. If you're going to do anything questionable, create your own application and you can use FBCMD as your own application so you don't ruin it for everyone else.
